There are 5 brands of federation woven wire available on the Australian market and McLure Garden & Fencing Products can advise on all of them!

"ARC-Federation Wire"
ARC Federation wire is an affordable and very attractive product. It is available in 3 heights 400mm, 950mm, 1250mm and is available in either Federation Green or Federation Cream. This wire is made from 3.15mm Galvanised wire PVC The opening size is 80 x 150mm and comes in 10 metre rolls. This is made in New Zealand and has a 3 year guarantee. This is presently not available owing to the sale of the machinery.

"Bekaert" Woven Wire
This woven wire is available in 3 heights 400mm, 900mm, 1200mm and comes in Caulfield Green. These are ideal for garden borders and front or side fences. Horizontal wires have a galvanised core of 1.6mm and a outside diameter of 2.2mm PVC coated, Vertical wires have a galvanised core of 2.5mm and an outside diameter of 3.4mm. The opening size is 80 x 150mm and comes in 25 metre rolls. This is made in Belgium. Currently unavailable as of December 2000

"DIRICKX" Ornamental Woven Wire
Ornamental woven wire is available in 5 heights 250mm, 400mm, 650mm, 900mm and 1200mm high. It comes in either Dark Brunswick Green or White. With the selection of heights both fencing and garden borders can be matched. Horizontal wires have a galvanised core of i.8mm and an outside diameter of 2.2mm of PVC. Vertical have a galvanised core of 2.4mm and an outside 2.9mm. The opening size is 80 x 150mm and comes in 25 metre rolls. A 10 year corrosion guarantee applies in Europe. This is made in France.

"EMU" Fencing Wire
This is the heaviest type of the 5 available and is supplied by the metre in a galvanised finish. It is available at 350mm, 550mm, 950mm 1100mm and 1250mm high. Should you wish it may be powder coated to any colour as shown on the powder coating colour charts. It is ideal where high strength decorative fencing is required. The horizontal wires are 2.5mm in diameter and vertical wires are 4mm and made from galvanised wire. The opening size is 60 x 150mm and is sold by the metre with no minimum. Emu Wire is Australian made.

"NORFENCE" by Sentinel
This woven wire is available in 4 heights 250mm, 400mm, 900mm, 1200mm and comes in Forest Green. These ideal for garden borders and front or side fences. Horizontal wires have a galvanised core of 1.6mm and a outside diameter of 2.2mm PVC coated, Vertical wires have a galvanised core of 2.5mm and an outside diameter of 3.4mm. The opening size is 80 x 150mm and comes in 10 metre rolls. This is made in England.
