The  Steer Light Farm Duty Access Grid has been designed for off road use where maximum vehicle weight is not in excess of 2.5 tonnes per wheel, that include heavy farm machinery or trucks of 12 tonnes gross vehicle weight.

The Steer Heavy Farm Duty Access Grid has also been designed for on-farm use however unlike the Light Farm Duty Access Grid, wheel loads up to 7 tonnes can be withstood on an occasional basis.  This corresponds to a full 42.5 tonne highway truck.

The Heavy Farm Duty Access Grid is ideal for on-farm situations where only a minimal number of fully loaded truck movements occur each year

The Heavy Farm Duty Access Grid is Engineer designed to the  '92 Austroads T44 and W70 static and dynamic load specifications.

Fatigue is not considered in the design as private farm heavy vehicle movements would not be expected to exceed 200 each year.
