SHEARING MODULE AN EASY FIT
WHETHER building a new shearing shed or refurbishing an old one, Steer Manufacturing shearing module cuts costs and makes shed fit-out easy.
Steer Manufacturing combined its experience in livestock handling and metal fabrication to produce the shearing module which saves farmers money and trouble.
Each module includes a delivery ramp, holding pens, a shearing board, exit chute and provision for machine mounting.
It measures 3m wide and 6m deep.
The delivery ramp can be fitted for either left-handed or right-handed entry to the holding pen on the same level as the 1.8m board.
The holding pen is fitted with a Melwire floor -- for grip and hygiene -- over a waterproof Bondec sub-floor which drains to the back of the module.
A fixed panel and optional swing / slide gate divide the holding pen into two separate sections.
After shearing, sheep are returned via the exit chute to pens below the holding yard kept clean and dry from stock held above by the waterproof flooring.
Stock are retained under the module by bolt-in side panels.
Because of their modular design and construction, Steer Manufacturing shearing shed modules are competitively priced and easily installed in either new or existing sheds.
